Labor Law for Companies

We work in Labor Law on the company's side, both in prevention and in the defense of lawsuits. The goal is to reduce labor liabilities and the number of claims, with an HR team that knows what it can and cannot do.

Preventive advice. We guide hiring, working hours, time banks, warnings and dismissals, and we review employment contracts, internal regulations and company policies. Many labor claims start from a procedure that could have been done differently.

Contractors and outsourcing. We review contracts with service providers hired through their own companies and with outsourced workers in light of the decisions of Brazil's Supreme Court (STF) and Superior Labor Court (TST), to measure the risk of an employment relationship being recognized before it becomes a lawsuit.

Defense in labor claims. We represent the company before the Labor Courts, from the defense to the hearings and appeals, assessing the risk of each case and the possibility of a settlement when it is the best decision.

Inspections and administrative proceedings. We follow inspections and notices of violation from the Ministry of Labor and defend the company in the administrative proceedings that result from them.

Liability assessment. We measure the company's existing labor liabilities, either for day-to-day management or for an acquisition, a sale or the entry of a new partner.
